www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0iSpg2vzKMSikhs need to start directly addressing such false narratives far more than they have done over the years. This video is a good start, since this has gone on for far too long! www.facebook.com/Islam.Sikhism/posts/1488339924531373 We made mention of this Mohan Singh character and his Sikh Awareness Society (SAS) back in 2017 after he appeared on that Islamophobe Katie Hopkins' now defunct show on LBC radio. He and others have been falsely whipping up anti-Muslim and anti-Islamic hatred for years on the back of this argument that Muslim gangs are being motivated by their religion to ensnare Sikh women into relationships, with an end goal of converting them to Islam. ... HOW DID WAHEGURU BEGIN TO CREATE?It's a question whose answer is simply taken for granted. It is just assumed that there was, at one point, nothing; then, Waheguru just mysteriously decided to create! The question of how an eternally quiescent being - one who is in an eternal state of non-activity - can suddenly decide to create, or is free to create, in the absence of time (assuming Waheguru is taken to be timeless, which is the usually the case), is never addressed. Here's one such example:In the 2018 issue of Nishaan Nagaara online magazine, Dr Kanwaljeet Singh Anand makes a claim in his article: 'Following the Guru's Path' that "to examine spiritual aspects of Love, we must understand the process of Creation". The author suggests that at one point, there was nothing other than "the Akaal Purakh, who remains absorbed in the self as Pure Being", but wants to know itself. He, thus, "creates a primordial energy" after which "a vibration is set up, which became the source of all Creation". Anand then posits: "Within this vibration, which is eternal and essentially changeless, the Divine Being inserted the idea of change. Out of this idea, being nothing but a figment of imagination or a conceptual notion, the powerful construct of ‘Time’ was born."That's it! That's supposed to be a reasonable explanation for understanding the process of creation! In other words, Waheguru, as an "essentially changeless" and timeless (sans state of affairs) being, somehow "inserted the idea of change".At NO point is it explained how something can come about from a state of no affairs.Your thoughts? ...
